This is pretty wonderful. And I was to attempt any sort of synopsis of it, you'd think I was rambling like a madman. It's completely absurd. But it does well to create a strange sort of living, breathing dream-world.

Based on a series of popular Belgian short cartoons, it doesn't seem to have much trouble transitioning into a feature-length film. I youtubed some of the shorts, which had been dubbed into English by "Wallace and Gromit" producer Aardman Animations. The shorts are charming, but seem more for the kids. The feature length acomplishes much more, and not just because it's longer. It just keeps taking you further and farther into a world of complete chaos. And in that respect, it's more enjoyable to adults. At least adults like me. Also, I find it much more pleasing in French. 

It's completely approiate for children, but don't worry, you'll like it to. Released by Zeitgeist Film, and they put out all the cool shit.
