March winner Jordan Ross Johns is a 24-year-old professional drummer & co-owner of
Big Orange Studios, an all-analog recording studio on the east side of Austin.

few!

Here's his Proust video questionnaire!

1. What Five Movies Would You Require if Stranded on a Desert Island? Defend your choices briefly.

JJ: Dead Man - for the soundtrack, Rolling Thunder - because it's freakin'
awesome, The Man Who Skied Down Everest - because I find it inspiring,
and Young Frankenstein and Bottle Rocket because I'll need to laugh.

2. What's your favorite death scene in a movie?

JJ: The guy whose head explodes in the press conference in Scanners.

3. Dawn Wiener in Welcome to the Dollhouse or Cady Heron in Mean Girls?

JJ: Dawn?

4. Favorite Movie Snack Food & Why?

JJ: Sour Patch Kids....I love those orange ones.

5. What's the Last Movie You Hated So Much You Had to Shut it Off or Leave the Theater?

JJ: Maybe Julien Donkey-Boy, though Werner Herzog made me laugh.

6. Kiefer Sutherland, Charlie Sheen & Corey Feldman are trapped in a Burning Building. You can only save one. Which "celebrity" do you save & why?

JJ: I guess Kiefer because my parents like 24.

7. What actor, in your opinion, cusses the best?

JJ: Danny McBride.

8. What's Your Favorite Thing About I Luv Video Besides Us Giving You a Year of Free Rentals?

JJ: The free beer on Tuesdays, all the great music DVDs/tapes and late fee
amnesty day!

9. Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro & Dustin Hoffman are trapped in a much nicer burning building. You can save only one. Who do you save & why?

JJ: Bob DeNiro for sure. I wish Godfather II went on for ever.

10. Do a six degrees of separation between you & any movie actor.

JJ: Peter Weller, better known as RoboCop, went to my high school in San
Antonio...Kurtwood Smith (the dad in That 70s Show) plays a bad guy in
RoboCop. He was in a couple of episodes of 21 Jumpstreet with Johnny
Depp, who was in Dead Man with Crispin Glover, who happens to be in
Wild at Heart with Harry Dean Stanton who is in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk
With Me
which featured DAVID BOWIE.

Winner Belinda Bennett with ILV co-owner Corad Bejarano

April winner, 21-year-old Belinda Bennett was born in Midland, Texas, but has lived in Austin for three years. She's studied in Greece, is currently a student at UT & likes to play tennis, wakeboard & eat at the delicious local Austin restaurants.

1. What Five Movies Would You Require if Stranded on a Desert Island? Defend your choices briefly.

BB:

1. The Unbearable Lightness of Being: For the hope and beautiful love making.
2. Black Snake Moan: Soul-ly for the music and Justin Timberlake?s hot bod.
3. Alice in Wonderland: The Made-For-TV-Movie version. I would rather have the book, but it's a good way to take a mind vacation.
4. September Sessions: Jack Johnson's surf movie. Great music, and it wouldn't show me anything I don't already have.
5. The Big Lebowski: For obvious reasons.

2. What's your favorite death scene in a movie?

BB: The ending of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

3. Dawn Wiener in Welcome to the Dollhouse or Cady Heron in Mean Girls?

BB: Cady Heron in Mean Girls. Mostly because I have yet to see Welcome to the Dollhouse. What good sorority girl hasn't seen Mean Girls?

4. Favorite Movie Snack Food & Why?

BB: Reese's. Peanut butter and chocolate anything is a gift.

5. What's the Last Movie You Hated So Much You Had to Shut it Off or Leave the Theater?

BB: Don't Mess With the Zohan.

6. Kiefer Sutherland, Charlie Sheen & Corey Feldman are trapped in a Burning Building. You can only save one. Which "celebrity" do you save & why?

BB: Charlie Sheen, because he is an alcoholic and a sex addict; don't we need more of those? And the other two are more than awful.

7. What actor, in your opinion, cusses the best?

BB:
Samuel L. Jackson. Absolutely. After that, Wendell Pierce as Bunk in The Wire. He solves an entire crime using only the f-bomb.

8. What's Your Favorite Thing About I Luv Video Besides Us Giving You a Year of Free Rentals?

BB: I love the suggestions. If I need some Rental Guidance, I Luv Video is there to provide.

9. Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro & Dustin Hoffman are trapped in a much nicer burning building. You can save only one. Who do you save & why?

BB: I'd summon the strength to save all three, because I could never let the actors from Serpico, The Deer Hunter, and Midnight Cowboy, respectively, die.

10. Do a six degrees of separation between you & any movie actor.

BB: When I was abroad, I went on a double date with Emma Watson, who was in The Tale of Despereaux with Dustin Hoffman, who was in Midnight Cowboy with Jon Voight, who was in Zoolander with Will Ferrell, who was in Old School with Vince Vaughn, who was in Into The Wild with Emile Hirsch, who is the most beautiful man in the world.
