Vote For Us!
It's time again for the Austin Chronicle's yearly readers' poll. Please, go ahead and cast your vote here, and keep us in mind for the relevant categories. I Luv Video, Spiderhouse Cafe, EcoClean and ColdTowne Theater have been slinging DVDs, coffee, dry cleaning and comedy for years and are all locally owned and operated. I Luv Video, especially, is the largest & oldest independent video store in Texas & our Airport store is second only to Seattle's Scarecrow Video for rare & cult videos. For 25 years ILV has catered to the film-crazed denizens of Austin, Texas & we'd love to have you wish us a Happy Anniversary by voting for us in the Chronicle's Best of Austin poll!

& Radley Metzger, a sumptuous period piece that dabbles in
politics, literature & art, but revels deliriously in desire. It's
intellectual pornography (ala Georges Bataille or Alberto Moravia) of the first order...

Movie of the Week
Fanboys (2008, D: Kyle Newman)
A great trip back in time to the yesteryear of 1998, Chumbawamba at the party and nerds getting excited about The Phantom Menace about to come out. Much like Detroit Rock City (which also stars Sam Huntington), it's a wild cross-country romp revolving around a pop-culture icon of the 1970's. It's pretty funny and you should check it out.
